OSHA Outreach rules cap training at 7.5 hours per calendar day for every course. OSHA 10 (10 hours) therefore needs at least 2 days. OSHA 30 (30 hours) is 30 ÷ 7.5 = 4 days minimum — it cannot be finished in 1–3 days. The temporary certificate is issued the day you pass. The DOL plastic card typically arrives 5 weeks after that pass date.

Program record

This standard English OSHA 10-Hour Construction course is the baseline Outreach offering for workers covered by 29 CFR Part 1926. Instruction concentrates on the Construction Focus Four—falls, struck-by, caught-in/between, and electrocution—because those four categories account for the majority of construction fatalities recorded by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Seat time is ten contact hours. The OSHA Outreach Training Program imposes a hard daily cap of 7.5 hours, so the course cannot be completed in a single calendar day. Completers who pass the module exams at 70 percent receive an instant printable temporary certificate and, after provider processing, the official Department of Labor OSHA Outreach plastic wallet card by U.S. Mail. This non-proctored edition is appropriate where the employer or jurisdiction does not require identity-verified (actively proctored) delivery. New York City Site Safety Training under Local Law 196 and certain Nevada construction assignments require the actively proctored counterpart instead.

Who this SKU is for
