Nevada NRS 618.983 — OSHA-10 Within 15 Days
Nevada Revised Statutes 618.983 and related NAC provisions require certain construction workers to complete an OSHA-10 course within 15 days after initial assignment to a construction site. Employers should enroll workers in OSHA 10 Construction (not General Industry) and, where auditability matters, the actively proctored edition.
The Nevada 15-day statutory mandate (NRS 618.983)
Under Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 618.983, all construction workers on commercial, residential, and casino/hospitality building projects in Nevada (including Las Vegas, Reno, Henderson, and Clark County) must complete an OSHA-10 Construction course within 15 calendar days of being hired. Supervisors and foremen must hold an OSHA 30-Hour card within 15 days of assignment.

Instant proof for the jobsite: Temporary Certificate
Jobsite inspectors and general contractors in Nevada require immediate proof of compliance. Because the official Department of Labor (DOL) plastic wallet card takes ~5 weeks to arrive via USPS, you can download and print your temporary completion certificate immediately after hitting the 70% passing score on UL Solutions PureSafety. This temporary certificate serves as valid proof of enrollment and completion for your GC and NV OSHA inspectors.
Identity verification & active proctoring
Nevada compliance officers reject generic, unverified online courses. You must enroll in an Actively Proctored Outreach track to verify the enrollee’s identity. General Industry (29 CFR 1910) does not fulfill construction mandates. See also: Is the OSHA 10 test proctored?
